Ai Limoni is a stone-built carpenter's workshop which has been beautifully and lovingly restored by the owner's son who has incorporated his father's old woodworking table into the furniture. Located in Castelvecchio Pascoli, 5km from Barga and only 1km from the main Lucca Castelnuovo road and Castelvecchio Pascoli railway station, the house is ideally situated for exploring the local area as well as cities of Lucca, Florence and Pisa.
Although the house is set in the old centre of Castelvecchio,there is a large south-facing private garden to the front and side of the house which can be accessed directly from both bedrooms via patio doors. The garden area to the front is lawned and features two large lemon trees at the border. Locally, there is a cafe, small general store and a newsagents. There is also bicycle hire available about 500m away.
Inside, the house is on two levels with a bright, airy open plan living area on the upper floor with fantastic views to the Apuan Alps through large arched windows. The kitchen features a large, modern fridge freezer and a dishwasher. In the sitting area, there is an open fire and a wooden spiral staircase leading to the lower floor.
On the ground floor, there are two beautifully-furnished bedrooms and a shower room. One bedroom has a double bed and the other, bunk beds and an additional pull-out bed below. There are terracotta tiles and beamed ceilings throughout.
Private parking is available to the side of the house.
