Quietly situated in one of Barga's premier residential areas, this property comprises the
front half of a lovely detached bungalow. The property is close to all amenities and just
5 minutes walk from the centre of Barga with its cafes, restaurants, shops and art galleries.
Very handily situated, less than a minute's walk from the house, is a cafe/grocery shop.
The local tennis courts are less than 5 minutes walk away and the cinema and bus station are a
couple of minutes further on. There is a local open air swimming pool 10 minutes walk away
and the riding stables are 15 to 20 minutes away on foot. "Parco Kennedy", which has a
children's play park and cafe/pizzeria is in the centre of Barga, near the historic centre.
Included
with the property are the whole of the sunny front garden and side garden, ideal
for "al fresco" dining and relaxation either on the lawn or veranda. The garden is very safe
for children, being completely enclosed and separated from the road by a hedge and gate.
There is a BBQ for guests' use and a children's paddling pool can be provided if requested.
Cars can be parked either in the Via Colombina or in the driveway.
The large lounge/dining kitchen (about 30 sqm) has terracotta floor tiles, open fire,
(although there is central heating to radiators), dual aspect windows and a door to the
side garden where there is a stone picnic table and benches just next to the kitchen door.
A TV/DVD player is provided (DVDs can be rented in Barga on production of your passport).
The kitchen is provided with plenty of storage space and has a larder fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven,
hob with 4 gas and 2 electric rings and microwave oven. The washing machine is housed
in an outhouse round the back.
There are 2 bedrooms, both with parquet floors. One is very large (about 25 sqm) and has a double bed while the other (15 sqm) has two singles. In addition, the sofa bed in the lounge opens out to a double bed.
There is a 4 piece shower room with plenty of storage space.
