Casa Morelli is a traditional detached farmhouse with large level garden (including covered patio with BBQ) and orchard, quietly situated just 10 - 15 minutes walk from the centre of Barga (about 800m).
The property is beautifully laid out with comfortable lounge and fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine). There are 3 double bedrooms and a single sofa-bed. A cot and highchair are available if requested. Dining table seats 8. Comfortable seating for 5 in the lounge.
Casa Morelli is immersed in green countryside yet is close to the centre of Barga with its cafés, restaurants, shops and art galleries. The beautiful historic medieval walled town of Barga is 37 km from Lucca and less than 1.5 hours to Pisa airport. Florence, skiing (winter only!) and the coast are within easy reach.
Locally, there are activities for all ages - bicycle hire, horse riding (very close to the property), tennis, open-air pool, trekking in the mountains, visiting local areas of interest, music (in particular Opera Barga and Barga Jazz) as well as a series of village festivals.
